LED headlamp: Opens up new styling possibilities

Read over at The German Car Blog how Hella together with its partner Stanley is showing a dynamic cornering light using LED technology for the first time.
Together with its Japanese cooperation partner Stanley, lighting and electronics expert Hella is presenting an LED headlamp prototype with dynamic LED cornering light for the first time at the IAA 2005 in Frankfurt. In this full-LED headlamp the lighting specialists are realizing optical and lighting engineering innovations such as Cartoval* plastic lenses and a so-called "light curtain" using LED technology, which give vehicle stylists a whole range of new opportunities for front-end design. For the first time, a dynamic cornering light that manages without mechanical components has been realized.
