GPS: Garmin's partnership with Germany's Ford dealers

Garmin GPS devices at german Ford dealers
Garmin, famous for their GPS navigation systems, just announced a partnership with Germany's Ford dealers.
So German Ford customers are offered the opportunity to purchase a Garmin StreetPilot i3, StreetPilot c310, or StreetPilot c330 directly from the dealership. More models will follow.

“This announcement is one of our newest European automotive partnerships, and is yet another example of our expanding presence in Europe,” said Gary Kelley, Garmin’s vice president of marketing. “Garmin products are highly sought after in Europe because they are easy to use, require no installation, and allow drivers to find their destination quickly and hassle-free.”

“‘We are happy that Ford, one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers, has selected Garmin as one of their GPS providers,” said Susanne Crefeld, Director Sales & Marketing at GPS GmbH in Gräfelfing, the German Garmin exclusive distributor. “Mobile navigation systems are highly sought after, and this agreement marks the first time Ford dealers can offer customers a Garmin GPS for their navigation solution.”
