GPS: New PDA with GPS integration

GPS PDA

Mio just launched their new GPS PDA model A201.
New feature about this model is a rotating GPS antenna which enables the device to be used both in portrait or in landscape mode.

The device is equipped with a 312Mhz Intel Bulverde processor and 64MB of RAM and runs on the Windows Mobile 5 operating system. Bluetooth and Wireless are the integrated connectivity.

GPS functionality is powered by the latest 20-channel SirfStar III GPS chipset, which enhances GPS satellite signal pick up and reception compared to the previous generation, 12-channel receivers. TMC (Traffic Message Channel) service is also available

Price is about $420 which does not sound much but be careful: maps for navigation are not included in this price.
