Volvo: Presenting "On Call"

Volvo On Call
Volvo is presenting "On Call" in Europe, a SOS system similar to OnStar in the US.
Starting next year, Volvo will launch Volvo On Call, an alert system similar to the U.S. OnStar Volvo On Call System diagram. The optional device includes such features as alerting Volvo if the vehicle’s been in an accident (i.e., airbag has been activated); tracking via GPS if the vehicle had been stolen, and unlocking the doors if the owner had locked their keys inside.

Though the system will be sold in seven countries, it will be supported in fourteen. Eventually Volvo plans to expand to other countries as well.
