In-car multimedia: Jensen product line focuses on mobile multimedia

Audiovox Corporation (Nasdaq: VOXX) today announced the launch of several new Jensen
mobile products that move the brand beyond traditional auto sound and into mobile multi-media.
Intellicar(TM) by Jensen, a line of in-dash multi-media receivers with touch screen displays lead the way and are complimented by in-dash vehicle PCs, both in-dash and add-on navigation systems. In addition, Jensen mobile this year will include new, amplifiers, speakers and MP3, WMA, CD head units, which, the company believes, makes Jensen Mobile one of the strongest and broadest marketers of car entertainment lines in the industry.

"The Nav PC for the car," continued Malone, "is one of the most exciting units we have ever had. It incorporates Microsoft Streets and Trips Navigation software and is a Bluetooth-ready system, which means it will operate with any Bluetooth cellular telephone." Other features include built in-in 40GB CD hard drive and DVD ROM drive, mini-ITX motherboard with 1GHz processor and 512MB PC2100 memory and GPS antenna. Includes USB Bluetooth Dongle MSRP: $1699.99.

The company is also introducing the NAV7TSTFT 7-Inch Digital Touch Screen for use with the Company's NAVDINPC. It features 1.15 Mega Pixel high definition TFT screen, 7-inch touch screen display, USB output for touch screen display programming via the NAVDINPC and has a universal swivel- mounting bracket for easy installation. MSRP: $699.99.

Continuing the focus on Mobile Multi Media will be a series of touch screen systems with a variety of high-tech features including Bluetooth, iPod controls, XM ready and more.
