Robot car: San Francisco to L.A.

Stanford robot car
This car has as much gadgets that it doesn't even need a driver:
After winning the Pentagon's DARPA Grand Challenge autonomous robot car race last year Stanford scientists go to next round: they plan to build another robot car that will drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles next year again without a human driver next year. But a human driver will be on board anyway for safety reasons to intervention if the robot freaks out. But thinking of the Terminator will the robot let the human intervention if it freaks out?
Well gadgets in cars a fine but I prefer a little less grade of automation... And I think the driving robot will not love iPod integration as much as I do...
