Foursprung: Head-up display for DivX

DivX Head-up display

It's said to revolutionize in-car entertainment, but I think this might be really dangerous.

The DivX Heads Up Display (HUD) is an in-car multimedia environment that allows the driver and passengers to watch full-length movies or video podcasts on the move. The driver will not be hindered by the movie as the HUD projection is transparent under daylight conditions. Co-developed with Krytek Systems from Russia, this technology allows for full resolution HD video playback and supports 5.1-channel surround sound.

Call me a party pooper, but in my opinion the driver should concentrate on driving, not on watching movies. Gadgets in cars are fine as long they are enhancing comfort and also entertainment. But the last mainly for passengers. Also for the driver - but during breaks or waiting time, not while driving.
When I think about how a much a phone call can keep me from concentrating on traffic, what will happen if the driver concentrates on a movie?
