GPS: BMW's motorbike GPS to ship

Also on the motorbike market GPS is on the move forward.


Garmin is in the middle of a vertiable blizzard of releases, and it will soon ship its Garmin BMW Motorrad Navigator III. This portable GPS device serves up your navigation information in nice-looking 3D graphics on an anti-reflecting 454x240-pixel screen, and offers text-to-speech and voice control via Bluetooth. With its included software, you can prepare your routes on a PC and then feed them into the device. It has a half a gig of internal memory, and it’s going to be available later this month. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet.
