Car washing: Home system in 2020?

According to a vision at Jalopnik in 2020 you don't have to drive to a car wash for professional care for your car.
A group of designers came up with the prototype drought-busting wash system -- which uses only a gallon of water in the form of steam and water vapor to cleanse cars -- for the Motor Industry Research Association, commissioned by Ebay.
