GPS: Turn your cellphone into a satnav

Do you want to be navigated by satellite but don't want to have an extra device? Or you can not decide for one of the hundres of GPS devices available? Keep it simple and use your cellphone for your navigational needs.

Navman is launching an all-new mobile phone package, called the Mobile Travel Assist S60 Edition that incorporates GPS navigation and content.
The system comes bundled with software pre-installed on a memory card and a Bluetooth GPS receiver to turn your mobile into a little satnav device.
Its standout feature is NavPix technology, which lets you take image of locations and send them, along with geographical data, to a friend's mobile so that they can navigate easily to the same location.
Unfortunately, this only works if both mobiles have the same NavMan package on their mobiles.
With the Bluetooth GPS receiver, the mobile becomes a tiny satnav, complete with up-to-date traffic and flight information, as well as point of interest data and maps of Western Europe.
The S60 Edition works on all Symbian Series 60 phone, which includes several Nokia models. Two GPS devices are offered, the Navman B10 and B20, and two cards offer a choice of services.
