PC: Infill G4 in-car PC

Infill G4 in-car PC

Another in-car PC comes from Infill. Although its name "G4" might make the impression that there is a PowerPC-based Mac inside (like those wonderful PowerBook G4, PowerMac G4 and iBook G4) unfortunately it's again such a Windows-based device running XP Home featuring a 1.5 GHz C7 processor.

Other components under the hood includes 512MB of RAM, a 40GB hard drive, and a built-in FM tuner. You navigate via the 6.5" TFT touchscreen display. The G4 boasts HD audio codecs and DVD playback capability, ensuring the kids behind won't be bored on long road trips. You can control the G4 via your steering wheel as well. This integrated in-car entertainment system even has DMB capabilities, GPS navigation courtesy of the SiRFStar III chipset, and a rear view camera.

Available for $2000.
