GPS: BlauPunkt TravelPilot Rome NAV56E

BlauPunkt TravelPilot Rome NAV56E

I like the way of integrating the GPS into the car stereo and Blaupunkt does quite well in this. Their newest devices from this series is the TravelPilot Rome aka NAV56E and successor of the NAV55E.

This radio navigation device comes bundled with CDs that contain maps of 10 European countries. Features to make your navigational experience all the more pleasant include a high resolution TFT screen, zoom functionality, the fastest/shortest route option, and an FM/MW/LW tuner to keep you company during long road trips. It is tagged at £550, so that translates to a price cut for the vaunted Nav55E.
