Distance control: Automatic Warning System

Mobileye AWS
This automatic warning system from Mobileye is for distance control. But it does nothing but indicating the distance between your car and the one in front of you by color. No automatically reducing speed or something.

Its eye is actually a small video camera mounted to the rear view mirror, and its image processor, called the EyeQ, calculates the distance between your car and the one in front of you, giving you an audible and visual warning if you get too close. It also lets you know if you drift out of your lane, but is deactivated if you turn on the car's turn signal.

That's not gadgety enough for $1800, is it?
